By plane:
- From Florence Airport: you can take a shuttle to Firenze Maria Novella railway station and from there a train to Castelfiorentino, from there you can take a taxi or rent a car and then follow as above.
- From Pisa Airport: you can take a train to Pisa Centrale and from there a train to Empoli and from there a train to Castelfiornetino, from there you can take a taxi or rent a car and then follow as above.
By train:
From Firenze Santa Maria Novella take a train to Castelfiorentino and from there you can take a taxi or rent a car and then follow as above.
By car:
- From Milan/Venice/Bologna: take the highway A1 towards Firenze/Roma, and exit at Firenze Scandicci. Then take the motorway Fi-Pi-Li towards Pisa. After about 13 km, exit at Ginestra Fiorentina and follow directions for Montespertoli/Castelfiorentino. At Castelfiorentino, follow directions for Montaione (about 9 km).
- From Torino/Genova/Pisa: take the highway A12 towards La Spezia/Pisa/Rosignano M. and exit at Pisa Central's toll gate. Then take the motorway Fi-Pi-Li in direction of Firenze. Then exit at Santa Croce sull'Arno, and follow directions for Ponte a Egola, then drive through the villages, La Serra, Corrazzano to get to Montaione.
- From Roma/Napoli: Take the highway A1 towards Firenze/Milano and exit at Val di Chiana/Sinalunga, then follow the signs for Siena. From Siena take the motorway towards Firenze and exit at Poggibonsi and drive on towards Certaldo, Castelfiorentino. From Castelfiorentino, follow directions for Montaione (about 9 km).
From Montaione to La Collinella:
Once you arrive in Montaione, take the one-way road on your right to Piazza Gramsci, then turn right onto Via Santo Stefano. After about 3.3 km, turn left and follow directions for "La Collinella". |
