There were five of us and we all had a wonderful time at Isola Verde! I have told many of our friends and family of the excellent hospitality, facilities, and the beautiful setting we enjoyed. Everyone there was friendly and most helpful in answering our many questions. We enjoyed several hotels that were recommended as well. All agree that we would strongly consider returning for another vacation at Isola Verde. Many thanks to Carolina for her help and good spirit!

We were pleased with all aspects of our stay. The arrangements via internet worked out very well. We were treated well, and all of our expectations were met.

It is a working vineyard and olive oil production site. We visited 'off season' for the wine and olive oil, but this could be emphasized as well.

We took many pictures, so one could see that the building was clean, interesting architecture that has been preserved and located in a beautiful setting on a hill overlooking the vineyards and olive trees. The wide vistas to be seen for miles in all directions from the grounds added to the beauty of the site. The rooms and facilities were modern and comfortable.
There is no on site restaurant and that would be useful, but perhaps not practical.

As there was no one there on arrival there would have been problems if we didn't have a mobile phone with us.

The directions are horrible, and we considered it a miracle that we actually found the place.
We arrived late because of rental car problems in Rome (and a little because of directions being so bad). When we arrived, we were warmly greeted, and dinner was prepared for us event though it was past the usual serving time. We felt immediately welcomed like family - it washed away our travel frustrations.

WE LOVED THIS PLACE! We did not want to leave at the end of our stay. The staff were fabulous and gracious, and Ricardo (the proprieter) was absolutely lovely. The grounds were beautiful and well kept, and the wine made there was delicious.
We were also very impressed with the A/C in our room. It exceeded our expectations.

I really don't remember what was on the website at this point in time. I think we were delightfully surprised at the availability of dinners, and at how reasonable and tasty they were (15 euro pp - wine for 6 euro a bottle). The food was simple and delicious - very Tuscan.

The double room without the jacuzzy is fairly small.

Good location, nice view, large appartments. The towels are Picke sheets, which we are not used to. The sofa in the larger appartment should be replaced. above all, as stated before - good value for the money.

Good accommodation, nice room and clean. the only thing to improve is the breakfast which was a bit basic (more fruit and yaourts, too many cakes wrapped in plastic ...)

Location is not really ideal for visiting the chianti valley as it is too far north of from chianti valley and the road to Siena is not intersting (crossing industrial estates).
to our taste Vinci is a bit quiet at night.
Lack of good restaurants in the area.
