 A villa in the centre of Lido di Camaiore, Residenza d'Epoca Hotel i Pini is just a few minutes to the north of Viareggio. This beautiful hotel was originally the seaside holiday home of Galileo Chini, a famous Italian painter of the nineteenth century and a leading light of the Liberty school. The house was built in 1914 by the painter and is decorated in classic Liberty style throughout. |
Nowadays within the hotel has been also prepared a museum with 20 original Chini's pictures that our guests can enjoy freely. He is also responsible for the wonderful Gran Caffe Margherita on the promenade at nearby Viareggio. |
 The hotel is located in the middle of a beautiful garden, with trees and lots of flowers: a real oasis. A great care is taken by the staff who is kind and friendly and really makes you feel at home. The atmosphere is quite unusual and in fact, after a while you forget that is an hotel but it becomes a 'casa delle vacanze' of your own. Except, of course, there are not many holiday homes that are living museums to a very talented artist, whose works not only hang from the walls, but decorate them physically in the form of frescoed walls and ceilings. The hotel is just 200 metres from the beach. |
 The hotel has parking places, bathroom, telephone and television in each room. In our restaurant everyday you can choose among a variety of meat and fish-menus and you can as well choose to have dinner inside or in the garden. To improve the service's quality now we put even 2 sommeliers at guests disposal who will take an advice to choose the right wine to couple with the dish.
Along the years our guests have become our new friends. We hope that this will also happen with you. |
