 Already from the start of the 1800th, Villa Il Salicone offered guests a taste of relaxation amid the beauty of the tuscan hillsides while drinking a glass of wine. Today like then, we promise to make you feel at home. Immersed in a time and space of pure leisure you will understand that spending a vacation in Villa and in our country houses will be like returning to a slow timeand finding yourself again. Gradually you will recognize the tastes and smells of a lost time only to rediscover them with sudden clairvoyance.
The Villa construction was started in 1817 for wish of Michele Sozzifanti, heir of an ancient Pistoia family and his wife Caterina, who perpetuated the ownership of the mansion till 1886. In the middle of the 1900 the dimora was bought by the actual owners and after a skillful restoration, Villa Il Salicone opens its doors to those guests who love a warm and peaceful welcome in an atmosphere of old time. |
 On ground floor of the villa is located the reception and the old kitchen where guests will enjoy a typical breakfast rich of flavours inside the large fireplace or have a lunch and dinner. In the old and restored stables guests can have a break with special recipes of the Tuscan tradition. On the first floor sitting rooms and dining rooms have fine decorations and a fully decorated "Hunting Salon" will be the scenery to your expectations. The Hall of the Music welcome guests on the second floor where the villa bedrooms are located. |
 They can relax and spend their time listening to the music or reading a magazine surrounded by the memoires and reminiscences of the family archive regarding the famous tenor Egisto Niccoli and his wife, the soprano Clara Beltramo, whose the actual owners are the direct heirs. The two suites and three rooms located on the same floor are very well appointed and overview the enchanting panorama of the Villa's gardens and the surrounding hills. |

 They are spacious and comfortable with bathrooms entirely sculpted in travertine. Villa Il Salicone is surrounded by the olive trees and vineyards planted hills of the Salicone Estate and dominates the valley catching sight of the small town of Serravalle Pistoiese and its towers in the province of Pistoia. Wines and oil are produced inside the farm and it is possible to taste them inside the old wine cellars located in the farm near the Villa.

is an old country house enjoys a beautiful location in the middle of the hills and next to the Villa Il Salicone in a secluded area.
Recently renovated and refurbished the country house has been divided into 4 spacious apartments with simple and comfortable furnitures. The country house apartments have large private external spaces and a beautiful swimming pool. The house can be rented as a single location or for single apartments. |
