Our eperience was wonderful. Lorenzo and Julia were the perfect hosts, always polite and accomadating. The place was very clean in a beutifully scenic location outside of Rufina. I would highly reccomend it, and hopefully will return at some point in the future. I can not say enough about how nice everything was.

Alessandra was there to greet us on our arrival and very gracious. Her reception began the most wonderful vacation that we have ever had. The entrance to our villa was surrounded with lemon, fig, and grapefruit trees. It is on top of a vista that is breathtaking. The villa over looks hills and valleys with red tiled homes in the distance. On a hill behind our villa were her olive orchards and vineyards, which were all ready to harvest.

Alessandra could not be more accomodating. She helped us with our day trips by train to Florence and also mapped out a scenic trip through the countryside for a leasurely drive into the local towns. She was there whenever we needed her but was careful to give us our privacy.

We were reluctant to leave our villa. Alessandra's charm only added to the serenity of the lovely 200 year old villa. We were surrounded with antiques and the beauty and wonder of Tuscany.

All I can say is that I wanted to buy one just like the villa we stayed in. I wanted to stay and help with the harvest. Alessandra allowed us to wander through her vineyard and stroll around her olive orchard. Her passion for the land was passed on to us. I can't wait to return!!

Fantastic, easy to find.

Everything was extremely clean, the room was spacious and very comfortable. Il Pezzatino is a beautiful place to stay in Tuscany, being nestled amongst all of the vineyards and olive groves really provided a relaxing place for us.

At check-out we were even able to pick up some wine and olive oil that they produce at Il Pezzatino which was all very delicious.

Alessandra is the most friendly and accomodating host. Having someone as friendly and nice as her made our visit so much better. Il Pezzatino, was the perfect place for us to stay while visiting Florence. Staying somewhere outside of Florence was perfect, we spent all day sightseeing but then were able to be in the country at night to enjoy quiet, peaceful dinners and the beauty of Tuscany. I would highly recommend Il Pezzatino to anyone visiting that area.

The one thing that we did not take into account was that the town where we stayed had no taxi service and no rental cars. We have not planned on renting a car until later in the week. Fortunately, the hostess came and picked us up at the train station where we were with our luggage. Not sure if there's anything you could have done about that but it was a problem worth noting.

A beautiful agriturismo about 15 km east of Florence. Very quiet, very relaxing ... beautiful swimming pool, gated estate with groves of olive trees. Out room was very clean and had a fantastic view overlooking lots of trees and flowers. (Feel free to include First name and location)

The owner was extremely helpful and a delightful person. Alessandra made our stay in Tuscany very special.

We were not made aware that the location is near a main road. Whilst road noise ws not a problem to us others might have preferred a quieter setting.

Lovelly and very handy for touring Tuscany with excellent facilities for relaxing.

We were disappointed that the accommodation that we booked was not available but in fact the accom that we got was better than the room that we originally wanted.

We had a very early checkout, but the owner was there to see us off.

Only one negative ... that the main road that runs alongside the property was very busy/ noisy - fast moving traffic, lots of motorbikes. It didn't spoil our stay , but if you had gone to sit beside the pool and get peace and quiet , this was not the place to do it.

Well presented, clean, convenient (for Florence and for reaching other areas in Tuscany), Owner(Allexandra) very friendly Lovely Pool and outside seating area.
