All the guests have access, in the main villa, to a Reading Room equipped with tourist information, magazines, books, board games and a billiard table. In addition the large Kitchen with its antique fireplace and wood-burning oven is available for use to anyone who wishes to try their hand at Tuscan cooking. |
The large hall and the tasting cellar are ready to welcome anyone who desires to taste our own products, such as our Extra Virgin Oil and our Chianti Rufina wine. Our farmhouse is an active place: cultural, folk and art exchanges, meeting people take place. For this reason we suggest our guests to attempt themselves in one of the several activities in order to know places, their history and feel part of them. |
Among the services and the activities, which our Pezzatino Agritourism place grater emphasis there are:
1. The courses - Course of Oil tasting: In order to know all the secrets of the most important ingredient of the Mediterranean cuisine and culture, and to learn how to use it in the most appropriate ways. During the meetings it will be possible to sample the oil with other typical products as honey, jam, marmalade and the cherished wine. - Ceramics Course: This course will be given by a top-ranking potter, who hands on his know how to the people attending the course. The programme will be made up of: - knowledge of the ceramics art; - planning; - preparation of the clay; - colouring; - kids-day for the preparation of the clay.

Wine, Oil and typical products tasting: The tasting of the Lecciole-Perini farm, as of the typical products from our area take place periodically in order to allow all our guests of the Pezzatino Agritourism to enjoy the specialty that our land is able to produce. Events The Pezzatino guarantees to all the guests relaxing music moments and cultural ones, as reading poetry and art exhibitions. 4. Organization of "special" days, as: "Day of the open cellars (in cooperation with the association "Streets of the wine" "Day of the Oil-tasting "Visit to the orchard": learning day about the ancient fruits and their employment "Grape harvest": during the autumn will take place the days of the harvest Visit to the monumental gardens guided by rural architects |
5. Explanation of the "Museum's system of Mugello-ValdiSieve" and location of the cultural itineraries of the area. 6. Our guests will find a dedicated library about this area, always at their disposal. 7. Diffusion of information material about cultural events of the Florentine area and help in booking theatres, visits. |

Florence is just 28 km away and it is easily reachable by car, train or bus, and there you will find museums, art exhibitions and shops of every kind. You need only to give a look around you to be conscious that every place has a human dimension, it keeps a millenary history, which you can breathe in all the streets of the Renaissance old town. |
