we got lost, but it was no fault of your directions, just our ineptitude! Sergio was wonderful and the villa beautiful.
...
The Marco apartment has two good sized bedrooms. The bathroom is very long and narrow which is a bit strange. The kitchen area is good, but we had problems with the stove. We didn't realize that the apartment came so barely furnished. We had to purchase dishwashing soap, clothing soap, toilet paper, etc. It would have been nice to have had some of these things included.

There is a bit of a problem with mosquitos, but it is difficult to avoid that. We ended up closing the windows which made it very hot, but less buggy.

The pool was a wonderful respite and we had a great time at the villa. I would recommend it to others.

nothing of import. very easy.
...
the pool is very clean and very accessible. the grounds are lovely and wonderful to wander around.
...
A 1000 year old modernized Italian villa with five apartments of varying size. Each apartment has bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen area. There is an outdoor grill area and eating space. The grounds include olive trees and beautiful scenery from every direction. After a day of visiting local sites it is wonderful to be able to jump into the large, clean and well maintained pool for a quick swim.

There were only 2 wine glasses. In Italy?? Could use more pots & pans and some large bowls for mixing salad, storing leftovers.
...
It was not a big deal, but the brochure should state that heat is extra. We would have selected this place anyhow.

Sergio waited up very late for our arrival and was very pleasant after our long drive.
...
The rooms were spacious, clean and quiet. Great times spent on the patio and swimming pool area, overlooking the valley.
We had brought mosquito coils and it came in handy. There was a washer, but it was a long cycle. We had 3 bathrooms and one out of seven night stay, we had cold water for showering.
...
No problem with check out and Sergio was gracious to take photos with us.

Great place to stay. It is away from the city. The moon and stars seemed very close. Central place in Tuscany to visit almost all the major sites and near many small, quaint villages.
We had a wonderful visit! Memories for a lifetime.

Since we were traveling from Japan to Italy and due to our flight schedule, we had to arrive the inn at midnight. We have questioned if that way okay prior to our depaparture. The owner was extremely nice and we waited for our arrival at the hotel at midnight. We really appreciated that special service.
...
This year was extremely hot. We did not expect the room without the air conditioner. That was very tough for us as the temperture went up to 37C and we needed to close all windows during the day to shut the heat. Since we live in the city, we never experienced not having the airconditioner with the 37C heat.
...
I think we could have enjoyed even more if we came during the better season.
...
The owner family was very nice. The shower curtain was too small that it was difficult to take the shower and floor often got very wet. It was difficult to wipe the floor every time we take a shower. We wish we could have air conditioner.

It was difficult to find the correct road leaving Florence airport.

The owners did not speak any English, which made it a little difficult to communicate when we arrived.
...
The bathroom was very damp. There is no real ventilation in there - mold started to spread across the wall.
We also found the bed very cold and damp. We did have quite a lot of rain and one night it came under the front door.
The kitchen could have been better equipped. There were no proper teaspoons, just 1 plastic one. No sharp knives for chopping and cutting onions/vergetables etc. There was no bin in the kitchen, so had to use plastic bags, which were not very pleasant.
All the t.v. channels were in German! There was only 1 English speaking channel - CNN. The garden area outside the apartment was a bit rough and could be tied up to make it a bit prettier to sit out in.
...
8.00 a.m. was very early and we didn't know whether we could have stayed later. Noone came to get us out and as the oweners couldn't speak english, we couldn't negotiate another time.
...
It was a pleasant surprise to find the village was within walking distance e.g. we could walk to the restaurant and have a drink without driving.
...
An idyllic location with practical accomodation.
