We visit the place since about 10 years. We recommend Il Corno to friends; those who staid there, were very satisfied. We describe the place as an ideal starting point for a visit to the Chianti region: good infrastructure, friendly people, nice environment.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful - the owner was certainly a plus also as she gave us a personal tour of her facilities - will suggest to friends to stay here

Didn't realize we would be staying 400m away from the restaurant and main estate.

We didn't get the free bottle of wine that was indicated in the literature for the property.

cleaning and maintenance below average. furniture smelt like the cat has peed on it often. window screens broken and insects came in. outside furniture muddy and area not swept etc all week. it was cool weather and the heating was very good. more basic kitchen utensils needed such as bottle opener, a can opener that works etc.

We had a wonderful stay - We have stayed before in the other building. The accomodation was better this time.

Need to make more of the retaurant facility - it was excellent and the quality of food consistently good.
The only downside was that the rooms were very hot - we were there during a very hot period but in long term air conditioning would be a bonus.

I would definately recommend it, beautiful position, nice rooms and good food in the restaurant- also very good for young families.

Tenuta Il Corno was beautilful! Our time there was very pleasant and the location was great for traveling to Sienna and Florence. Everyone at the villa was very helpful and polite. The restaurant served great food and wine all from the villas grounds and vineyards. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Tenuta Il Corno was the most wonderful experience. The apartment that was first given to us was located in the corner of the building and although it was upstairs we could hear the noise from the road. The next morning we requested a change and within minutes we were given an apt. downstairs with the bedroom in the back. All this with a smile. The food in Il Corno's restaurant is fabulous. We ate there three times and each meal was better than the next. The service was wonderful and the staff in the office and the restaurant are just great. I would recommend IL Corno to anyone.

I think you should describe the other building a little better and give a more descriptive statement of it's location. It is really more than a short walk from the main building.

Fantastic, Staff that bends over backwards to help you out with any request that you have. Great food, great value......definitely a keeper to come back to.

The site should mention & show pictures of both locations (the main plus the extension). We stayed at the extension which is more quiet but is not as nice as the main building. We felt a bit isolated from the main heart of the estate. We have had no contact with the staff between check in & check out. The appartment itself was perfect. Kitchen instruments were a bit scarce. Replacement of laundry was done more often than programmed. The surroundings of this extension looks much less nice than the surroundings of the main building. On the whole, we had a nice stay.

We have stayed at Il Corno previously and once again found it a good experience. Although reception was closed on our arrival, that was because we were late as our flight was diverted to Milan and we had a 41/2 hour coach journey to Pisa to pick up our hire car. I contacted Il Corno and they left the key and instructions for us. We were a little disappointed with the lack of heating in the apartment which was quite cool on an evening. When we asked if we could have the heating on we were told that tourism restrictions prevented the heating being turned on before the 1st November. Otherwise a good stay

We could not believe our good luck. We arrived some time after lunch and they fed us a wonderful meal anyway. They are the nicest warmest people without being overbearing. The place is so wonderful we're afraid too many people knowing of it will 'ruin' it.

the chefs there create some of the very best food we had in any restaurant anywhere else in Firenze or Venezia where we had been before. The wine is the best as well, and they refused to push us to buy any since shipping costs are so high.

Heaven in Tuscany, and so close to Florence you need not drive all over Italy to find a quiet gorgeous spot to stay and rest.

You don´t have to pay for your wine at the restaurant very often.

Friendly, peaceful and calm. Godd food and very good wine. The surroundings were fantastic and we saw fireflies and stars at night!

It would be very helpful if the roaddescription told which of the many highways the guest should follow from Firenze Airport and in which direction.

All the staff were phenominal! Friendly, accomodating and very service oriented.

The website stated air conditioning. Perhaps there is air in the other rooms? The friendliness of the staff made up for any deficiencies.
FYI: Shower heads had almost no pressure. Bit of a hornet problem near pool.
Also, the wine was fantastic!! We're convinced the Italians send North Americans the cheap wine.

Again staff very accomodating. They helped us book a hotel in Rome.

during our stay,there was no water in the valves for almost 4 hours in the evening (19:00-23:00)the most important hours for showers and other important things.
The policy for stopping water supply to the erea shall be clear to your guests.

You shall add when the swimming pool will be open (the exact date). During our stay it was closed.

We came after 7 pm, so nobody there to welcome us.
...
- The service ie cleaning of the rooms during our two weeks stay was not done at all
- the breakfast was very very weak: same single type of cheese and ham the whole two weeks, 1 1/2 exactly the same piece of cake (nobody took a piece, at the last day they cut it and put a little bit of chocolate powder on it)
- but the building, the rooms and the landscape are really excellent
