The staff was extremely helpful. The hotel
was gorgeous, better than I expected. It was
a recently renovated medieval building with
marble steps, tile floors, and wooden beamed
ceilings.

There was no taxi service available at the
hotel on check out- because of the Palio horse
race. We had to carry our luggage over a mile
to find a taxi. The staff should have told us
in advance of this problem.

Casa Vacanze 'Il Campo' was a wonderful place.
The room was exquisite! It was a recently
renovated medieval building with marble steps,
tile floors, and wooden beamed ceilings. It
was right in the center of town, very close to
the Campo and lots of restaurants and shops.
It was better than expected. I would
definitely stay there again!

Very helpful, even coming with me in the car to assist with parking outside the gates.

The staff were brilliant, I had already told them I was staying in Siena due to my wedding, they gave us a courtesy bottle of champagne and the morning of the wedding decorated the stairs with flowers for my departure, I was very touched by the consideration of the staff.

My daughter, age 21, who was studying in Siena
at the time arrived before the rest of my
family. She was a little nervous about this,
but she was treated graciously and
supportively as she checked in by herself. It
was a pleasant, positive experience for her.
The whole family checked in easily.

The location was perfect, usually quiet and
calm, yet near the Campo and restaurants, etc.
The shower is small - really small! - for an
American. The gas stove took some getting used
to. But all these little things are part of
traveling, part of the adventure! No, we
loved this place. We had a memorable stay and
would advise friends to use your facility.

The staff was organized, gracious and helpful;
very nice people, quite personable. Checking
out easy, convenient.

The location is just terrific for Siena.

Having never been in Siena, it was a little unclear how difficult it would be to bring a car into the city to deposit luggage. We parked in the recommended lot, then went back later to get one small suitcase with clothes for all 4 of us. It would have been difficult to bring in all our luggage due to the size of the staircase. The car park seemed secure, and we left most of our luggage in the car for 2 days.

I loved the apartment, the rooms were great, all very new and clean in an ancient environment. The bathrooms had high quality fixtures that worked excellently.

Perhaps people should be advised to arrive at the apartment with one small bag for everyone (pack very light) if arriving by car. Walking back to the parking lot, repacking for a family of 4, and transporting luggage through the hilly streets of Siena was time consuming.

I would highly recommend it to friends. We were minutes from the most important sites in the city, and were very comfortable in the apartment. It was fun to stay in an ancient building in such comfort, and we were treated very well by staff.

In view of the fact that hotels in the centre of Siena tend to be very primitive, this accommodation was extremely modern, but still retained all of the rustic charm you would associate with Siena.

We were allowed to leave our suitcases for as long as we wanted until we left Siena. This was extremely useful since we wanted to stay in Siena for the rest of the day.

Giovanni met us at the train station which was so helpful. They have remodeled the apartments beautifully. Giovanni and his family were very friendly.

Thre were no directions from the plaza where the bus let us off. We took a cab and they got us to the office. Then Giovanni walked us to our apt which was on a different street.

The apt was a bit bigger than we expected. There was a living room area, a dining area and kitchen. The bedroom, closet and dresser were very spacious. And the coutyard was nice for hanging our clothes on the line. Bathroom very nice and modern. Bath soap, dish soap and hair dryer were there.

We were able to check out a day early and leave the key in the apt on the morning that we left.

Giovanni and his entire family were very sweet and helpful to us. Giovanni and his wife spoke very good Enlgish and his parents, though they did not speak English, made every attempt to help us. The hot water heater and/or water pump made a strange noise when using hot water or flushing the toilet but after this was explained to us and after we got used to it, it was not a problem.

A modern clean apt in an ancient building. About 4 blooks from the Campo. Quiet and comfortable. Giovanni and family are wonderful hosts and very helpful. Siena was busier, bigger and more crowded than we had thought it was going to be but is very centrally located to tour beautiful Tuscany.

As mentioned above, Giovanni was very helpful. The only compliant in that the clothing washer did not work in the room. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Good value for money. Sentral located in the heart of Siena.
The roof terrace was a perfect place to eat breakfast and in the evening to sit down for a drink and enjoy the view.

The management were very friendly and helped
to make our stay a pleasant experience.

We couldn't fault the accommodation at all.
Although there was a language barrier between
ourselves and the management (although the
younger manager's English was good), this did
not in any way detract from our experience.
After all, it is up to us to learn Italian!

Fantastic location, 3 minute walk from the
main piazza. Siena is just a wonderful place
and the accommodation was excellent.
