By Car
Coming from the north, if you are on the highway A1, take the exit Firenze Certosa and then follow the motorway, direction to Siena. Take the exit Siena Sud and then follow the directions for the "Cassia" to Buonconvento-Montalcino. When you reach Montalcino and you are at the roundabout, in front of the small village, enter in the town and then turn right (on the corner there is a small garden). Then right again and following the street you reach the fortress, where our property is located, on your left. You have a car park in front of you or you can turn right and there is an other small car park.
Coming from the south, from the motorway Grosseto-Siena, take the exit Paganico and then follow the directions to Monte Amiata-Montalcino. When you reach Montalcino, as above.
Coming from the south, from the highway A1 from Napoli-Roma, take the exit Chiusi-Chianciano Terme. Then follow the directions to Pienza-Montepulciano-Montalcino. When you reach Montalcino, as above.
By Train
The nearest big railway stations are Siena or Grosseto. From there you can take the local train to Buonconvento. From there are several busses leaving during the day to Montalcino. The nearest bus stop is the one close top the Fortress, just 100 meters from the property, located in Via Ricasoli 33.
By Plane
Coming from Pisa, we suggest you to rent a car, if you want to discover the country or you can take the train to Firenze, leaving from inside the airport. From there, take the local train to Siena and then change to Buonconvento. From the station, take the bus to Montalcino, as above. |
