 Il Barlanzone is a new and very nice property, located in Montalcino, one of the most famous and beautiful villages of the Tuscan country. The property takes its name from the history of the square, where it is situated. The town house suite is located in front of the ancient "fortezza" (fortress) dating back to the XIV century and it was the symbol of strength and union. |
 In front of the fortres there was a small square, where people met during free time, just to speak and to spend some relaxing moments. This famous meeting point was called "Barlanzone", where now we have built a refined and comfortable accommodation, where you can relax and experience the hospitality and the genuine life of the country and of its products. |
 Nowadays, "Il Barlanzone" is an ancient building, situated on the highest point of the historic centre of Montalcino, offering a marvellous and breathtaking view of the fortress and of the country. During hot season and clear days, you can admire also the sea. From the property, with a pleasant stroll true the small and typical streets of Montalcino, you can reach piazza del Popolo and you can visit the village and its well known wine shops. |
Completely immersed in a calm and pleasant ambiance, Il Barlanzone offers double bedrooms and a nice apartment, with a spacious terrace. The building has been recently refurbished and renewed just to offer a really comfortable accommodation for all our guests. |
