We were picked up at the train station by the lady of the house. She was very kind and helpful with all our questions about the area. Upon arriving, we were greeted by her family. The apartment and countryside exceeded our expectations. It was truly the most beautiful place we stayed during our trip through Italy.

If you are looking for a peaceful, secluded, beautiful countryside getaway, this is the perfect place! I would recommend Il Podere Luisa for anyone looking to relax and get away for the most romantic place I have been to, or just to have some peace and quiet. A ride into town is provided anytime you need it, where you can buy groceries and shop, or take a train to Florence for the day. The kitchen was great to cook meals for dinning on the terraces overlooking the countryside. I have never seen the sunset look so beautiful! The price is perfect, and way well worth it! I will definitely return again!

Il Podere Luisa is enough, by itself, but you have access to walk through all the other roads and vineyards surrounding Il Podere Luisa. You have access to mountain bikes which allow you to bike to near by towns and shops. It is isolated and quiet, but if you don’t mind walking, or biking, there is so much more to see!

It is a must! The pictures I have taken away from Il Podere Luisa, speak so much more than any words I could ever say! It is so very beautiful and romantic.

This was the perfect place for us. We were very happy with our stay here and would definitely reccommend it. The breakfast was great and Romina cooked us dinner out on our porch one night. We took the train from right down the road into Florence. The only negative thing I have to say is that the drivers are crazy! Otherwise wonderful vacation.
