We arrived very late - 1 o'clock in the night - and Anna was very happy to see us, thus it was so late.

The apparment is in the middle of Lucca's heart and in the best shopping street. There is a good and secure parking place. Quiet and private. New and delicate bathrooms.

Anna, Our hostes was a doll! She had little gifts for the children and recommended two super restaurants.

The private parking lot was very helpful. You should also mention the great proximity to shopping.

I Borghi is a lovely 'value for money' apartment well located inside the Lucca walls. Mr. and Mrs. Tomei are very friendly and helpful hosts. The secured parking lot is very useful. It takes a 15' walk to the train station. Most Tuscan highlights (Pisa, Firenze, Sienna, Medit.coast... are easy to reach.) Great place to stay!

Anna Tomei met us and was exceptionally
friendly and welcoming. We could not have
asked for a better host and she was a lovely
start to our stay in Lucca.

Anna picked us up from the train station and gave us a quick tour of Lucca on the way to our room. Wonderful greeting to a lovely city.

Mrs. Tomei was a very kind hostess and was
very helpfull with her recommendations. She
was here in a few minutes as soon as we
arrived

The apartment needs an air conditioning. It's
incredibly hot during summer. Although the
other details are as we expected, if we return
during summer we'll search for an air
conditioning option

Anna met us at the station. This was especially helpful. Anna and Benito are a wonderful owners, very friendly, good advice, good sense of humour. They did more for us as guests than we expected. Meeting the train and , on departure, Benito taking us to the station in the early morning was really appreciated. They also provided maps and local information. They are more like friends than receptionists.

The apartment, ie Vittoria, was clean, spacious and had the facilities that we expected. The location within Lucca is very convenient. However, as mentioned above, it is the personalities and friendly approach of Anna and Benito that make renting their apartment a pleasure. The other excellent aspect was that , before we left Australia, when we were making the arrangements to rent the apartment, Anna was very efficient, she answered emails quickly with good information.

As mentioned above, Anna and Benito did more than expected, that is taking us to the station etc. They do not act as 'staff', rather they welcomed us as if we were old friends and that they were keen to make our stay in their apartment as enjoyable as possible.

I think that the web site provides a fair and accurate description of I Borghi ie the apartment, location etc. What a web site like yours can not do easily is convey to visitors the human/personal dimension of the property. In this case it was the friendly approach of Anna and Benito that made the whole experience that much better.

We were picked up from the train station free of charge which was very helpful.

It was slightly noisy due to the main predestrian road being below the window but it is to be expected when staying inside a city.
