Hotel Moderno in Siena was established in 1954 and from that date it has been runned by the Pagni Family. Situated only ten minutes walk from the historical center, Hotel Moderno provides a bar, restaurant and a pleasant garden. |
 Located just outside the ancient walls of Siena, just 200 meters away from Porta Ovile and in front of the hotel you will find the new escalator (opened in February 2000) that brings up to Chiesa di San Francesco, in the middle of the historical center (from the chiesa (church) you will reach the famous Piazza del Campo in 5 minutes by foot). |
The 62, slightly dated, bedrooms are all equipped with bathroom, direct dial telephone and colour tv. The restauarant offers typical Tuscan and International dishes as well as an exquisite selection of regional wines. |
 The Hotel is easy to reach and has a private garage and a large outside parking area, which is also suitable for coaches. The hotel is open all year around and gives the individual visitor, or indeed a group, a mid range accommodation. |
