Moreover the many restaurants, pub and bars in the centre offer the chance to spend pleasant evenings. Those who are fond of nature will surely appreciate the beautiful Regional Natural Park San Rossore at 5 km distance from town. Furthermore, within a range of 15-20 km it is possibile to reach, even by public transportation, seaside resorts such as Marina di Pisa, Tirrenia or Viareggio (in wintertime one can admire here one of the most beautiful carnival parades of Italy), Lucca, another interesting Tuscan historical town and the picturesque villages of the inland area of the Pisan Hills, with their enchanting landscapes and rich in delicious enogastronomic products.
