we were warmly greeted, shown to our room and our luggage was promptly delivered to our room. Because we had informed the owners of the hotel that we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, a bottle of champagne was also brought to our room, compliments of the management.

We had a wonderful stay at Palazzo Guiscardo, the staff were friendly and helpful and especially the manager. We were offered bicycles for use around the town, an umbrella when it was raining and maps and train timetables when we wanted information about a particular area.

A wonderful hotel, the facilities and level of service would appear to be above its four star rating. Returning to the hotel each evening was like returning to the home of a friend.
