Just to give you an example following are two of our best-selling tours:

1) Guided visit into the secret world of the laboratories and studios of marble workers and mosaic artists. Famed as ' Little Athens ', Pietrasanta represents the world centre for artistic works in bronze and marble. Fondries, Artisans laboratories are at the very heart of this secret antique world of fascinating tradition. How does a piece of art come about? Is it really possible to enter the world where these artists work? How and with what instruments did Michelangelo create his sculptural masterpieces? The answers to these questions can be found in this exclusively unique guided tour into the mystery of the artists at work in Pietrasanta. You will have the opportunity to enter the artists' studios, admire people at work, satisfy your every curiosity into phases of creation, workmanship, refined technique, and the very masterpieces in the making in bronze and marble that render Pietrasanta a city unique in all the world. See the artisans of mosaic, masters of speed, constructing complicated figures using small pieces of glass in more than 3000 different gradations of colours.
 
The artistic experience continues with a discovery of the lives of the citizens: after visiting how works of art are made, those which have made Pietrasanta famous the world over, we will admire the final results. Taking a brief walk through the romantic historic centre of the city, meet masterpieces of art from the past and present: Visit the Church of S. Antonio where Botero created his freschi "l'Inferno e il Paradiso"; enter the Duomo of S. Martino, rich in works from the Middle Ages and 1800s, only after enlightening our curiosity can we experience such details first-hand in discovering the secrets of marble work. With eyes wide open, admire the harmonious and masterful "Centauro", the beautiful bronze by Igor Mitoraj.

2) Guided visit to the marble quarries of Carrara. The marble quarries of Carrara have furnished the finest raw material to the world's most famous sculptors for centuries. If you love masterpieces in Art and Nature, this itinerary is a one of a kind, not to be missed.
- 1st part: A visit to the marble quarry of Fantiscritti, the largest in the world and outside the realm of usual tours. From Monday to Saturday tour the quarries in open air as the mythic workers excavate the marble, completely immerged in a rich atmosphere of strong ancestral traditions of this work which still today represents a difficult and dangerous occupation.
- 2nd part: In dubiously the most intense experience, in order to understand this fantastic world from the which up to now could only be observed from the outside, we will visit the gallery of a marble quarry, directly entering the heart of the mountain, an immense space, where courageous men live up to 10 hours a day deprived of sunlight extracting the precious marble of Carrara. (We advise appropriate clothing, as the caves are cold.)
 
- 3rd part: Visit the school of young sculptors in the marble quarry of Fantiscritti. This open air 'laboratory' puts the artist in direct contact with the marble, and why not? To try the drill and lime trying to revive the sensations and emotion that the great Michelangelo experienced here, in these quarries so many centuries ago.
- 4th part: Brief excursion into the village of Colonnata, home to the cave workers, the anarchists movement and that exquisite gastronomic specialty, "Lardo". From the heights of this historic town admire the immense beauty of the quarries of Carrara, the resourcefulness of tenacious men and aspire to that precious treasure to which Mother Nature has made us the custodian.

Pietrasanta: ancient city of origin medioeval, is the historical chief town of the Versilia and the capital of the artistic workmanship of the Marble to consider.
