For those of you who are looking for a green oasis of peace in a rare natural scenery, full relax, sporting and cultural activities, our holiday property allows you to live all these experiences, sojourning in elegant and refined environments. Torre del Guado Country House is a prestigious holiday farmhouse, with ecological pool and excellent facilities, in panoramic position in the picturesque landscape at northeast of Arezzo, near Cortona-Chianti-Siena area and on the border with Umbria, perfect to visiting many cities of art in Tuscany and in central Italy. Tipic restaurants, museums, cultural sites, thermal baths, golf, tennis courts, horse-riding at a short driving distance.

The large complex, which covers an area of approximately 1000 mē, is an impressive and historical medieval building, which dates from the 12th-13th century, just restored and converted into a warm and refined country holiday farm, located outside of Sansepolcro, birthplace of the great Piero della Francesca.

Now the ancient villa is a center of hospitality, administrated by the owner-family itself, base for excursions in the cultural artistic centres nearby, where the guests can enjoy relaxing and invigorating holiday, in comforting and elegant environments. The farmhouse, set in beautifully maintained gardens with a large ecological pool, features 5 self catering holiday-apartments, each one individually designed, with fireplace and independent entrance, well-tended equipped garden, mountain-bikes, private covered parking and spacious reception rooms for: meeting, ceremonies (with service catering).

The original manor house, despite its state of disrepair and abandonment, revealed in its raw and magnificent beauty and through some architectural elements (antique ceiling coverings of the ground floor and the large fireplace, coming back to the pre-Renaissance period, with a slab of stone engraved with ecclesiastical symbols, situated on the first floor) historical links with a noble past. Now the Villa has once again found its ancient charm thanks to a radical and rigorous programme of restoration designed to both respect the original characteristics of the building and meet with anti-seismic norms and the modern criteria for thermal-acoustic isolation.

Through the introduction of new architectural and decorative measures and a carefully selected internal colour scheme, the essential and refined beauty and warm appearance of the structure has been restored to its former glory. The subtle pastel shades, together with the carefully selected furnishings, now contrast perfectly with the severity of the stone, the red-baked floor tiles, the wood and the wrought iron to create a personal and pleasant ambience which appears fresh and new.
