Gym availabe. Also that there is a free shuttle at certain times; one can go to train station and take train into Florence, etc. .

It would have been good to have been shown the thermal pool on the tour of facilities.

A guest services person showed us around the hotel and explained most all the services and then showed us to the room.

The restaurant was excellent, both in the outstanding service and the food. Maid and room services were above average for this type of hotel. Very well kept. The air conditioning system, however, was not functioning and it was very fortunate to have unusually cool May weather where we could keep the window open. The external thermal pool is exceptionally nice with wonderful therapeutic features (albeit with construction going on around it)

There was major construction of an additional building to the thermal pool area going on during our visit. Although it had no significant impact on us, we feel it should have been mentioned in the hotel description or somewhere. We likely would have made the same boooking, but not had the suprise.

If you haven't had a hotel spa experience, this is the place to do it! Wonderful food selection with outstanding services.

When we booked, we were under the impression that we would be getting a room with a view. When you opened our window, we looked at a side of a hill, and the kitchen was down below us.
Other than that, our stay was very enjoyable and we would return to the Grotta Giusti Spa & Hotel.

The only shocking thing was the fact that we had some ironing and laundry done, and the bill was 350.00 euros.
