Since 1773 the Montecatini spa waters have been world famous for their beneficial effects on the human body. Recent studies have confirmed the therapeutic qualities of these waters. Spending a few days at the Montecatini Spa is ideal for all those who wish to get back into shape while having fun. Restaurants, bars and all the elegant boutiques are very easy to reach just 200 meters from the hotel. To get to the famous SPA, guests can cross the park that is beside us, and walk fo 10 minuntes.
In the vicinity of Montecatini you can also visit:
- the lovely town of Lucca (25 km away) famous for its fabulous intact medieval walls. There are monuments, churches and villas to visit. The 3rd Saturday and Sunday of every month there is an important antique market. In July there are organized various concerts including Jazz, in the Anfiteatro Square.
- You can't miss a visit to Pisa's famous Tower (50 km away).
The 15th and 16th June there is a festival to honour the patron saint of the town, Ranieri. In this occasion the houses along the river Arno are illuminated by candles and a statue of the Saint Ranieri is brought on to the river.
- Florence with its world famous monuments is also only 30 min. driving distance.
- The Tuscan seaside of Versilia is only 50 km away. |
