It took some time, but we found someone to help us eventually. ... The property is in seroius need of maintenance, particularly the gardens. The pool was lovely but the grass was over a foot long, and the pool furniture was a joke. ... Go, but for half what they're charging. Breakfast is very uninspiring .. some cakes were on the table for the whole week we were there. NO AIRCON!

We were all very pleased with our stay and we could think of going back some other time. ... We have already described it as a beautiful small villa that is quiet, with a wonderful view, especially from the pool, nice rooms, cleen and hospitality and a delicious breakfast served with thoughtful care from the hostess.A place where you can relax and enjoy your vacation.

We were expecting to be able to pay by credit card as stated on the Web, but were only able to pay cash. Fortunately there was a bank nearby! ... No air conditioning ... Family run villa, with large quiet grounds, great pool, very relaxed.

We arrived by car from La Spezia - your directions didnt cover that avenue - but we drove to Castille in Chianti and by luck saw the sign to Villa G at the crossroads in the town, so we turned into the correct road with no problems at all. ... WE were disappointed that no one spoke english - we understood that they would. We muddled through OK though. It would be nice to have someone with english - to tell you what is the 'must see' in the area etc. ... We left very early in the morning so that we could get to Ancona in time for the ferry and drop the hire car off before that - they kindly left the makings of a cuppa and muesli etc out for us to have before we went. That was nice of them. There was no problem about the money, we simply showed the confirm email and paid the amount stated, which was accepted without query. ... We had a hire car, and I think it should be made clear that really, to stay in Villa G you should have your own transport
