This historic building dates back to the year 1000 AD. It was part of the Benedictine monastery of San Salvatore di Giugnano, whose ruins lie a short distance away. |

From Livorno, take the Grosseto-Rome road and leave at the Gavorrano Scalo km 214 exit. Follow the directions for Ribolla-Roccastrada from the beginning of the Il Terzo provincial highway for about three km.
From Rome, take the Braccagni exit for Ribolla-Montemassi, turning off after about eleven km for Roccastrada.
From the Florence-Siena highway for Grosseto, take the Civitella Marittima exit for Roccastrada and Ribolla, on the Il Terzo provincial highway, about eighteen km from the exit.
