| Casa Giovanna is in the heart of Tuscany in the area of Castel San Gimignano, a little borough 12 kilometers from San Gimignano, a medieval jewel famous all over the world. It is 15 minutes by car from a swimming pool, 40 minutes from the beach and around 40 kilometers from the Florence-Pisa airport, by car it takes 15 minutes or less to Siena, 15 minutes to Monteriggioni and 10 minutes to San Gimignano, Volterra and Colle Val D'elsa. Florence, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Pienza are about 40 minutes away by car. In an hour and a half you could be walking along the sea shore, relaxing in a thermal place, or visiting Pisa, Lucca or Arezzo. In summer you can choose from numerous plays, operas in San Gimignano and special events in the area. The world Famous "Palio" horse race takes place in nearby Siena and July 2nd and August 16th.
