We expressed our appreciation and enjoyment (to Cornelia) of the woman who prepared breakfast daily as well as cleaned Castello di Gabbiano. She also helped as intrepretor between us and our taxi driver. I believe her name is Marcella, but not positive. She is a wonderful human being and a blessing.
Great food for breakfast!
There was a wedding reception the first night of our stay, which caused a sleepless night. Cornelia said she tried to contact us ahead of time, but was unsuccessful. Aside from that, we loved Castello di Gabbiano.

12th century castle that overlooks Tuscana countryside. Breathtaking views. Experience of a lifetime. Good location for travelling within the Tuscana region. Suggest using a GPS unit (with European maps).

More detailed driving directions to the property with a better map for tourists not from Italy would be helpful.

We had a wonderful time here. The pictures on the website don't do it justice. We couldn't believe how beautiful the Castille di Gabbiano was. I was very please with my choice off the internet for our stay in Tuscany. We loved our room and the views from the windows. We felt very luck to have picked this property for our first stay in Tuscany.

We arrived late in the night, therefore the recepctionist was not in the castle. She came after a telefon call.

This Castel Hotel is wonderful. The only negative point is the menu at the restaurant. The restaurant itself is beautiful but the menu and the service is not adequate.

This castle hotel is a dream, it is very well located in tuscany,the landscape is unforgetable, all the staff (specially Mariana) were very kind and helpful, the rooms are spacious and clean, the atmosphere in the castle is wonderful and the wine very good. We are looking forward to stay there again.

This was the highlight of our two week trip!
The staff at Castello di Gabbiano was pleasant and very helpful. The accommodations were superb! We will use your sight again in the future. As for directions, it was my first time to Tuscany and had trouble finding
Gabbiano. There was a road closed and this
caused great difficulties.

We had a fantastic time, great apartment, great pool, very nice restaurant on site, the staff was very pleasant. Be sure to try the outstanding reserve wines!

We didn't really have any problems locating Castello di Gabbiano, although I think what proved most helpful was the GPS that was in our rental car.

LOVED Castello di Gabbiano. It was absolutely beautiful, the rooms were great, the complimentary wine of the highest quality, and the food delicious! Would recommend it to anyone :)

We showed up late in the evening, and the staff stayed around to make sure we got into our room safely.

Beautiful piece of property. Great views and wonderful place to go for a walk or exercise. The rooms were not air conditioned so during the summer it is quite hot.

Only had a kitchen staff member to greet us so did not get full rundown of facilities

They are obviously just getting going with having guests - staff were quite scarce.

Due to a very delayed plane arrival, we arrived at the property very late, past check in. There was a telephone number to call and someone arrived immediately. We were very pleased with the service.

We would not hesitate to refer any of our friends to this property. We were very pleased with our stay and would love to return.
