 Day excursions can be easily made to the art cities of Lucca, Pisa, Volterra, Siena and Florence. Steeped in history, this estate goes back the years 1000. In the middle Ages, Coiano was an important stop for pilgrims crossing Italy on their way to Rome. A parish church, a castle and a series of farmhouse were built on this site. |
 Long ago guests found rest and refreshment in the peace and beauty of these lands. Today the modern pilgrim's search is over. The complex is composed of spacious and comfortable apartments, all recently restored and lovingly furnished to create a traditional Tuscan living environment. |
