By Air:
From Rome Airport 2.30 hours
Take the highway A1 in the direction of north. Exit at 'Incisa', then follow the by car instructions below.
From Milan Airport 4 hours
Take the highway in the direction south towards Bologna-Roma. Exit at 'Firenze Sud' then follow the by car directions below.
From Florence Airport 45 minutes
Take the highway south in the direction of Roma. Exit at 'Firenze Sud' then follow the car directions below.
From Pisa Airport 1.30 hours.
Take the motorway outside the airport towards Florence (Firenze). Stay on the motorway following the signs for Roma until the 'Firenze Sud' exit. Exit then follow the by car instructions below.
By Car from North:
Exit A1 'Firenze Sud'. Drive straight on following the directions for Pontassieve. At Pontassieve turn to the right in the direction 'Arezzo/Incisa'. Go straight on till S.Ellero, until you see the signs for Donnini, Vallombrosa. At Donnini turn right for 'S.Donato in Fronzano, Reggello'. After about 3-4 km and two ascending 'S' bends and a U bend turn to the left to Fronzano. Keep always on right for about 1 km and you will arrive at the gate of Villa Maria.
By Car from South:
Exit the A1 motorway at 'Incisa'. Follow the signs to 'Reggello' turning to the right. After 1 km turn left still following for Reggello. After Reggello, follow the signs for 'Pietrapiana - Donnini. From Pietrapiana follow for Donnini-S.Donato in Fronzano. At S.Donato in Fronzano drive straight on for 1 km. After a 90° bend to the left you'll see on your right a tiny road with the signs to 'Fronzano - La Massa'. Keep always on right for about 1 km and you will arrive at the gate of Villa Maria.
By Train:
From Firenze S.M.N. to S.Ellero - 25 minutes travel time. The villa is easily accessible in 10 minutes by car from the train station. |
