Electricity needs to be rewired so more items can be used at the same time.
There was a sewer smell in the bedroom by the street.
Refrigerator door did not work right so it was hard to keep closed.
Parking is a problem sometimes.

Very friendly neighbors and Certaldo Alto itself is very friendly. Small Grocery store near unit is very handy.

All went smooth - note on the door welcoming
us. Ecstatic when we saw our accomodations.

Our stay at Casa was the best of all our
lodgings. We visited Vencie, Sulmona and Rome.
When booking on line, I was prepared for a
little bit of a 'reality check', but it
was absolutely as stated, if not more!
The only suggestion I would make is leaving instructions for the tram.

Perhaps listings of the Restaurants and hours

First I would show them the brochure, then
direct them to the website - while showing
them our pictures of the magnificent view and us drinking wine and eating bread on the
patio.
We have already recommended and reinforced the decision to our friends to contact

we asked for 6 single beds and got 2 single and 2 double, they where able to change one of the doubles to 2 sigles but not the other, so a mum and daughter had to share.
But every thing else was just great
...

Very comfortable villa and lovely veiws over the town and the owners very helpful, they picked us up from the station and also took us back which saved us pulling our luggage there.
A very beautiful village with a lot of history and very friendly people. Handy to the main town and the supermarket with the funicular to get up to the hill top village

We called upon arrival and we were met in
Certaldo Alta by the owner who took us to
the property. She went over in English (my
husband speaks Italian) all
the facilities, surrounding anemities,
parking instuctions and gave us keys, etc.

It was just perfect. Very relaxing,
conveniently located.

Casa La Fridina is conveniently located near
Chianti region, San Gimignano and just
between Florence, Siena with a Funiculare
that can take a guest downtown for easy walk
to the train station. Within easy walking
distance from the apartment, there are
several very good restaurants one can walk
to, a museum and a beautiful park to hike in
behind following a road behind the village.
You don't need to always drive in the car!

Our stay at Casa Fridina went beyond our
expectations. The view is better than the
brochure and web site, the medieval streets
charming. We would definitely stay there
again and recommend to out friends and
family. The owners went out of their way to
help us and answer questions.

We were very happy with Casa Fridina, the house was perfect for two couples, plenty of room and everything we needed was there. The location was also perfect for driving around Tuscany and also going to Florence and Rome by train. We highly recommend this property, the owners were very nice and if we had any problems they would come and fix it right away.

We had a wonderful stay at this property and will go back. There is nothing we did not like about it.

Very nice vacation home, perfect for two couples. Two big bathrooms. The house has three bedrooms, but we did not use the third bedroom . Galley kitchen, not huge but plenty of room to fix breakfast in the a.m. before venturing out for the day. Had washer and dryer. It had everything we needed.
Also screens in all the windows.
The only thing it did not have was a swimming pool, which we did not want or need.
The town of Certaldo Alto was so quaint, with restaurants and small store. Also had a real nice pottery shop.
We would highly recommend this property and plan to return in the near future.
