Boy, this is a place you MUST visit, a converted mill, redesigned in the very best tast with lots of charming featured, operated by the most pleasaqnt and service minded hostess you could ever imagine. DON'T MISS THIS PLACE, and its excellent value for money. The rooms are spacious and superbly furnished.

I would just like to say that I find my staying at Il Frantoio di Cannoreto very pleasant, and our hostess Odile was more than nice, to her we owe the happy memories of our vacation!

The charm of this property is its location; it is also its drawback in terms of directions. Always call ahead. That said, the beauty, privacy, and cleanliness of this converted 400-year-old olive oil mill pales in comparison to the genuine warmth and discrete attentiveness of the owner to her guests, not to mention her delicious homemade breakfasts. If you enjoy romantic fires in the fireplace and beautiful fresh flowers in the common area, Il Frantoio di Cannoreto is the place for you.

Frantoio di Cannoreto was a charming, comfortable, and delightful experience. Odelia, the owner and hostess, was most caring and gracious. We felt as if we had invited into someones home and made as comfortable as if visiting a close friend. We would recommend (and we already have) this property to everyone.

We paid what was contracted although, the property was not filled and since we encountered some difficulty with finding the place, the owner placed us in a much larger unit than we originally contracted.

Every aspect of the property was decorated well, exceptionally clean, and the breakfast was the best we had on our entire journey. The hostess was attentive and gracious about all requests and yet she was not intrusive.

On a long journey there are periods when you want to relax and decompress from a hectic schedule. Frantoio di Cannoreto was a charming, comfortable, and delightful experience that is located in a quite, secluded area away from the hectic pace of tourist locations. When in the Tuscany/Cinque Terre area plan to stay here.

Our welcome was so warm that we soon felt simply 'at home'.

You do need a car during the stay but it is an ideal starting point to enjoy a little of everything in Italy - sun, sea, mountains and history - all is within easy reach.
and one can enjoy delicacies from different regions besides tuscany. the landlady made us feel as if we were the kings of the castle!

The breakfast was very good (homemade honey) and also available after 10 o´clock!

We had a private terrazza. But I don´t know if this is valid for every room there.

It´s a very special place, calm and friendly. If you like to stay in the mountains, far from the city´s noise, go there and have a rest, you can listen to the frogs and bees! The town of Pietrasanta and the marina are only a few minute´s drive away, so you can go to the beach easily. It is also suitably located for excursions to other tuscanny cities, e.g. Lucca. We enjoyed it very much!
