Directions from Rome: Follow signs to the highway A1, direction Florence. It is about 180km from the toll booth and will take 2 hours. Take the exit Val di Chiana. Turn right after the toll gate signposted Foiano. Continue along this road for about 8km past Foiano and take the left hand turning signposted Pozzo. On the hill ahead of you, you should be able to see the Villa. Continue along this road, past a small church on the left at the foot of the hill. At the top, turn left up a gravelled road signposted to Villa Fontelunga.
Directions from Milan: Follow signs for "Autostrada A1 direction Bologna-Firenze". After Florence continue along towards Rome. Take the exit Val di Chiana about 1 hour from Florence. After leaving the highway follow the directions as for Rome.
Directions from Florence: Take the A1 higway in direction to Rome. Take the exit Val di Chiana about 1 hour from Florence. After leaving the highway, follow directions as for Rome.
Directions from Pisa: Leave Pisa airport from the exit adjacent to the car rental parking depot and turn right in the direction signposted Firenze. Follow this road (a dual carriageway) until to a signpost for the "Autostrada A1" and Rome. Take this turning. Follow the exit off the road and round a bend to the right, you will come to a junction with a toll booth for the highway ahead of you. Go onto the highway in the direction to Rome, turning off at the Val di Chiana exit following the directions as for Rome. |
