By Car:
If you come from Florence: After taking the motorway to Siena, take the exit to "Siena Nord" and follow the road signs to the "Stazione". Leave the station onyour left, procede to the crossroad and go toward "Roma A1 / Arezzo / Perugia". The next two roudabout on your left don't exist on the map because they have been built recently. Take the first roundabout and follow the road signs to "Roma A1 / Montevarchi". Then take the second roundabout and go toward "Montevarchi / Pontignano". You will be on the "Strada Statale n. 408". Overcome the little urban area on your left called "Botteganuova". You will be infront of an intersection. Take the road on your left which is called "Strada di Scacciapensieri", and go toward the "Basilica dell'Osservanza". At the beginning of this uphill road, take immediately the "Strada della Capriola" on your left. Go straight on that road (it is a blind alley road) and here you are to "Fontebenedetta".
If you come from Rome: From the "Autostrada del Sole", take the exit to "Val di Chiana" and go toward "Siena"; go always straight until you reach "Siena Est". Go along this road until you find three roundabouts. Take the first roundabout and follow the road signs to "Firenze". Then take the second roundabout and go toward the same direction, "Firenze / Montevarchi".
Then take the third roundabout and go toward "Montevarchi / Pontignano". You will be on the "Strada Statale n. 408". Overcome the little urban area on your left called "Botteganuova" (restaurant). You will be infront of an intersection. Take the road on your left which is called "Strada di Scacciapensieri", and go toward the "Basilica dell'Osservanza". By train: once arrived at Siena railway station we suggest you to take a taxi to reach our property, it will takes few minutes ride. |
