 Here at Florence House Rental you can choose among the following accommodation:
- two independent villas, called Villa I Cipressi and Villa Uliveta
- two independent apartments located in Villa Calcinaia (which can also be rented all together)
The buildings are not very far one from the other.
VILLA I CIPRESSI - 4+3 guests
On the ground floor there is a stone-walled room with chairs and a table and a double sofa-bed. The neighbouring room is an elegantly equipped kitchen, furnished in the old Tuscan style, with an open fireplace. There is also a small bathroom. Relax in the lounge area, created in the kitchen or simply pull off a Dante's style Inferno in the woodfire. Oak beamed ceiling, terracotta tiles and sumptuous furnishing create a spacious but comfortable space. The living room ( with lcd satellite TV) is connected to the kitchen which, with its open atmosphere and fireplace, represents the heart of the house. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, washing machine and fridge and leads directly onto the garden. There is also a small bathroom off the kitchen. |
 On the upper floor there are two rooms, one decorated in yellow and one in green, both having splendid rustic views over the garden. They share a bathroom on the same floor. The yellow bedroom, with a mezzanine, is suitable for very close friends or just a huge bedroom for two. Through the windows you may view the night sky and imagine that you are not on a beautiful flat plan, but on a magical sphere. The green room, with the brass beds, compliment the view of the olive groves. Botticelli gave birth to Venus, this room will deliver every new day in only one way, the Tuscan way. One room have a kingsize bed, the other one have twin beds. Villa i Cipressi has air conditioning. |
 VILLA CALCINAIA
Consisting of two adjoining appartments, which have been furnished with interesting antiques, both on the first floor and very light. They share a terrace. Guests can use the wide garden in front of the villa that is equipped with tables, chairs and a barbecue. In this villa there is a lcd satellite TV.
Apartment Botticelli - 4+1 guests - 70 mē
This apartment is composed by two bedrooms with bathroom and a kitchen.
Terracotta bedroom: As the Florentine Machiavelli said "The end justifies the means". Four painters suffered nervous breakdowns creating this room. The result however is a splendid Tuscan bedroom striped of Terracotta and ochre, with an en-suite marble bathroom boasting an original eighteenth century basin. |
 Yellow bedroom: If Michelangelo brought us the perfect human form, the yellow room delivers the perfect room. The four-poster bed is positioned next to the marble en-suite bathroom. A perfect room even by David's standards.
The kitchen is called "The Alphabet Room". A is for Amerigo, the Florentine after whom America is named. The Alphabet room is just that, decorated with the Italian alphabet. Ecompassing a discreet kitchenette, set in marble behind Venetian wooden doors. A room from where you could plan your own voyage of discovery. |
 Apartment Leonardo - 4+1 guests - 90 mē
Also this apartment is composed by two bedrooms with bathroom and a kitchen.
Pink bedroom: A fusion of red, pink and polished wood floors with an en-suite bathroom, it creates a cosy but luxurious retreat. Chandeliers and brass beds combine to make a room in which Casanova could easily have embarked upon a conquest. He didn't...but he could have. |
 Green bedroom: Serenity in Green. Brunelleschi's sense of balance and perspective reign supreme in this room. Two single four-poster beds create the balance, the silk and organza drapes deliver the perspective. A room impossible not to relax in.
Kitchen: A wood burning fire, oak beams, terracotta tiles, oak seating and sunflower walls create inspiration for innovation. Sit overlooking the cypress trees and the Alpi Apuane mountains beyond and you could be Leonardo da Vinci planning your next party trick.
VILLA ULIVETA
Villa Uliveta is located only 100 metres away from the main Villa and has a private entrance hall with a stairway to the second floor where the 200 sq. meter apartment is located. The apartment is composed of three double or twin bedrooms distinguished by a colour (light blue, yellow and pink or green), 3 bathrooms with shower, big living room with fireplace, fully equipped kitchen and bright dining room. It can welcome a maximum of 7/8 people thanks to a sofa-bed in the living room. The whole Villa is elegantly furnished in the old and warm Tuscan-style with cotto floors and ancient furniture chosen with love and attentions, and is equipped with all the comforts. The garden is carefully kept and has a nice Gazebo with a barbecue in front of the swimming pool that is set among beautiful flowers bushes. NOTE: in Villa Uliveta there are only fans (no air conditioning is available). |
