 A barbecue is available in the farm yard with a long table. The swimming pool is positioned in a wonderful corner of the Castle with a unique view. It is a large swimming pool (10x20 mt. ) with a good solarium. There are also large and beautiful rooms for every events, like marriages, meetings and partys of each kind. |
Cooking courses: are organized on request (minimum 10 participants).
Parking: within the property we have a car-park.
Mountain-bikes: Guests can rent montain bikes within the structure. Around the Castle of Fezzana there are many trekking and mountain bike trails.
Fax service and photocopier are both available in reception. Cost is based on use.
It is possible to buy the very special Extra Virgin Olive Oil and wine made at the Fattoria di Fezzana. |

 In General:
At the Castle you are in the quiet and tranquil countryside, but in few minutes you can reach the village of Baccaiano (1,5 km), where you can find a bank, grocery shops with freshbread every day, bars , restaurants and pizzerias. Just in front of the bar there's the bus stop, where you can buy bus- tickets. The nearest chemistry is in the village of S. Quirico (3 km). In via Fezzana there is a good restaurant pizzeria, you can go from the structure also by foot. In Montagnana (2 km) there is a grocery shop open on sundays mornings. Big supermarkets are in Montespertoli (5 km) or Castelfiorentino (15 km). The nearest railway station is in Montelupo Fiorentino, where you can find trains to Florence, Pisa and Siena.
In S. Quirico (3 km) are organized riding excursions and lessons.
Tennis courts are in Baccaiano and Montagnana (1,5 km).
During all year many festivals are organized in the surrounding villages:
April: Pancake's festival (Montagnana)
May: Pod's festival (S. Quirico).
June: Chianti wine's festival in Montespertoli.
National dogs' exibitions in Montespertoli.
July: Farm-made bread festival (Lucardo)
Pappardella's festival (home made pasta) in Montespertoli.
September: Beer's festival in Montespertoli.
November: new wine's festival in Montespertoli.
December: Bread and oil's festival in Montespertoli.
Every Tuesday in Montespertoli there is the open air market, where you can buy everything (from fruits and vegetables to clothes and shoes).
Market's days are: Wednesday in Montagana, Thursday in Empoli, Friday in Baccaiano and Saturday in Castelfiorentino. |
