By Car:
From Milan- highway A1, exit "Firenze Sud". Follow signs for Bagno a Ripoli, Vallina, Rosano, Volognano, Torri.
From Rome- highway A1, exit "Incisa". Follow signs for Pontassieve, Leccio, S.Clemente,
Rignano sull'Arno, Bombone, Torri.
By Train:
There are many connections from the Firenze - "S.M. Novella" train station for the train station of Rignano. There are many connections from the "Firenze Campo di Marte" train station for the train station of Pontassieve.
From Pisa Airport:
After exiting the airport follow the blue signs for Firenze. Ignore the green autostrada sign for Firenze. Continue along this highway for approximately 70 km where you will follow a motorway sign A1 to Roma, until the "Firenze Sud" exit. Follow signs for Bagno a Ripoli, Vallina, Rosano, Volognano.
Nearby Favilletta:
Once passed the Castle of Volognano take the second turning on your left (2 km) just before Torri village. Up this road you go passed a few houses keep following the road to the right-then the road becomes untarred follow it down and round to the left and it ends at the Favilletta. |
