I had intended to write to Voltrona myself before receiving this request.
I found the whole experience brilliant. We had a most wonderful room and fantastic view. The staff were at every point the best asset. The views, the property, the cleanliness were great. The meals, both Breakfast and the optional dinner were great.
I will be recommending Voltrana to many people and I hope that I can return and take my husband next time to enjoy this brilliant escape into the beautiful tuscan hillside.

There is a problem with hot showers - okay if you have one late at night but not always good if you are competing with others for the water pressure!

We Enjoyed ourselves. I think they shoud really
push the dinners. They were the best food we had while we were in Italy. And they were so much fun. All the guests were very friendly and as I said the food & Wine and after dinner drinks were super.

This is a simply lovely place in a beautiful location. It is exceptionally well kept, very friendly and helpful staff, and a great experience. I would love to stay there again in the future.
The optional nightly dinners with guests from all over the world were quite a wonderful experience. The quality and taste of of the dinners was not the best, but the experience was still worth every penny.

When we got there they showed us a room that was in the back of the house (in the shade all day, dark and small) not as pictured, so we asked if they had another one and we switched.

Fattoria Voltrona is a beautiful place. We took about 50 pictures of the property. However the breakfast and the dinner were a bit disappointing.

Very much enjoyed the beautiful setting and the family-style dinner, giving us the opportunity to meet the other guests. Only sorry that the horses were already booked for riding.

Spartan but clean accommodations, nice bathrooms even by American standards -- absolutely beautiful setting in the Tuscan countryside. Helpful staff, friendly fellow guests. Exceptional breakfast in wonderful blacony-type breakfast room with view of the fields and vineyards. Family-style dinner was plentiful and fun with wine from the argiturismo's own vineyard. Book the horses in advance if you want to ride -- sorry we missed that.

We had a wonderful experience at Fattoria Voltrona! Staff were very helpful and pleasant. One thing that would have made it all perfect: There should be screens (mosquito nets) on the windows. Even though we were there in Spetember, it got hot at night. One evening we opened the windows and were covered with mosquito bites the next day... Screens on the windows would have made this stay 100% perfect :-)

at the first arrival, fattoria Voltrona seems very far from the road away ! But the place is very quiet and the landscape marvellous. It is a reward to find it !

Our short stay made us wish to come back for a longer time : rooms are confortable and quiet, meals are hearty and delicious, and it is a good idea to 'mix' people together around a same table : it was very funny to speak with people from different countries.

Marvellous landscape, quiet place, warm reception, excellent traditionnal meal , good place to visit the area by car, foot, bike or horse.

I was disappointed I couldn't be accommodated for a horseback excursion. We were rained out and could not be rescheduled.

Basic accommodations; good location outside of San Gimignano. Family style dining - optional. Decent breakfast. Beautiful countryside.

For us (because of a family emergency) a telephone in the room would have been helpful. But can understand that not everybody would need this.

Very clean and relaxing environment. Loved the dinners held with other guests. Very peaceful part of Tuscany and very handy to lots of interesting towns.
