By car
From the North, proceed on the A1 motorway and exit at Florence-Certosa. Then take the dual-carriageway towards Siena until you reach Poggibonsi. Leave at Poggibonsi-Nord and follow signs to San Gimignano.
From the South, proceed on the A1 motorway and exit at 'Val di Chiana-Bettolle'. Then follow signs to Siena. At Siena take the dual-carriageway towards Firenze and exit at the Poggibonsi Nord (not at the Colle Val d'Elsa exit even though it is marked San Gimignano). From Poggibonsi follow signs to San Gimignano.
Once you get to San Gimignano, take the main road to Volterra (turn left at the first roundabout; there is a car parking area on the right of the roundabout). After 4 km, reach San Donato, a small village near San Gimignano. Then follow signs to Voltrona 1.6 km. Turn left and follow signs to Agriturismo Voltrona. Voltrona lies at the end of a gravel road located within 1.5 km of San Donato. | | |
