Facilities within the Property

 
The property stretches onto 8 hectares, there is a spacious garden with a swimming pool, set in earth (9 x 14m, deep: 120cm) - chairs, table and a barbecue are at your disposal for dining and the pool area is equipped with sun-umbrellas and deckchair. There are a common laundry with washing machine at our tenants' disposal. The weekly change is included.

Nocchi is the ideal place for longwalks, trekking and biking. Departing from the farmhouse you can reach little villages with beautiful romanic churches. Trekking on Monte Prana departing on foot from Nocchi. You can reach the top of monte Prana from where you can have the best panoramic view of Apuane Alps and Tirrenian Sea. Biking around between olive trees and wineyards is an incredible experience.
Spend a day on the beach: In 10 minutes by car you can reach the popular beach of Viareggio where a tipical "ombrellone" will be just reserved for you (included). Reknown in the past as a summer stay for wealthy families, Nocchi finds its origin in the Middle Ages, as it was lying on the "Via Francigena" that was the only way for pilgrims from Northern Europe to reach Rome, centuries after the Roman Empire's decadence. In the village there are beautiful XVII century villahouses whose gardens are rich in very old camellia trees. As a matter of fact Nocchi lies right in the area of Lucchesia where camellias have been grown for centuries. Close to Nocchi there are villages that offer lovely romanic churches, beautiful narrow streets and good restaurants. We mention some of them:Camaiore, Pietrasanta, La Pieve, Greppolungo, Pedona. Pietrasanta is actually one of the most important centers of art especially for marble scultures, bronze statues and famous art galleries. From Nocchi are easily reachable Tuscany famoust Cities of Art: the nearest cities are Lucca (17 km) and Pisa( 30 km), but in less than an hour you are in Florence (90 km) and in one hour and half in Siena(130 km).
