 By Car from the A1 highway:
From the highway A1 take exit "Firenze Certosa" and from there take the toll-free dual carriage way to Siena. After 22 km get off at "S.Donato" exit, turn left over the bridge and drive in the direction of S.Donato in Poggio. After about 2 km there is a sign displaying S.Donato in Poggio, 30 meters before this sign there is a small street on your right hand side which is the entrance of our property (note a big cypress).
By Car from Florence Airport:
Get out of the airport, turn right and take the highway which leads to Pisa and Genoa. After 3-4 km get off following the signs to Roma and Milano and take the highway A1 direction Roma. Come off at "Firenze Certosa" (first you will find "Firenze Scandicci, then "Firenze Certosa") pay your toll and from there take the toll-free dual carriage way to Siena (on the right after the toll payment). After 22 km get off at "S.Donato" exit, turn left over the bridge and drive in the direction of S.Donato in Poggio. After about 2 km there is a sign displaying S.Donato in Poggio, 30 meters before this sign there is a small street on your right hand side which is the entrance of our property (note a big cypress).
By Car from Pisa:
Take the toll-free SGC FI-PI-LI towards Firenze. After the exit Lastra a Signa there will be an exit that leads you to the A1 Highway (green sign for A1 Bologna-Roma). Follow signs to Roma and take the exit "Firenze Certosa". From there take the toll-free dual carriage way to Siena. After 22 km get off at "S.Donato" exit, turn left over the bridge and drive in the direction of S.Donato in Poggio. By Train:
The nearest important railway station is Firenze S.Maria Novella. From there go to the bus terminal and hop on the Sita blue Bus line 349 Firenze - S.Donato - Barberino Val D'Elsa. Get off at S.Donato and walk back until you reach a small street on the left with a big cypress. That's the entrance of our property. |
