My staying at Fagiolari was unbelievably amazing and wonderful!! I will definitely go back to Fagiolari and spare more days or weeks to stay in Fagiolari for another holiday. The scene is beautiful, the hotel is great, the wine of Fagiolari is just perfect; but these could also be found in other places in Italy!!! The most heart-warming point is that the owner, Mrs. Giulietta is a very nice, gentle, warm person and provided us everything we needed--even better!!! My stay in Fagiolari is the most pleasant and best memory during my whole trip in Italy!

a beautifull place to be, really the middle of toscany. Only 30minutes from Sienna and Firenze. And don't forget to visit the small unknown towns close to Fagiolari.

Cooking classes are available and very fun to attend. Unfortunately, we found them to be too expensive for our budget. However, we don't regret at all taking at least one class to see how it is and to taste Fagiolori's good wine.

Relaxing atmosphere where you can forget the world, but re-enter it within 10 minutes if you choose to do so. The area is surrounded by vineyards and small villages that are nice to visit. Not too far from the most scenic areas such as Sienna, San Gimigano, etc. Perfect swimming pool and always smiles from the owner.

We had a map, but did not print out the written directions. We called Fagiolari and they were very helpful getting us there with no problems. The site was somewhat remote and the road was very rough.

The property really is even more beautiful than than portrayed on the website. Our room was beautiful and spacious. The bathroom was very large with modern fixtures, yet still had tuscan farmhouse charm.

The farmhouse is decorated with a lot of love and care with beautiful antiques and personal art and effects. It is very comfortable and relaxing.

It would be the ideal location to spend two or three days relaxing by the pool and enjoying the beauty and serenity of the Tuscan countryside. The home is lovingly furnished and decorated with antiques and mementos collected by the owner over the past 30 years. It's like staying in someone's personal villa/farmhouse not a commercial hotel or B&B.

The welcome was good, especially since we arrived during the dinner preparations...and the kitchen was busy!

We stayed in the separate cottage above the pool. It has its own table outside to view the vineyards and grounds. It is very private; with its own kitchen we could have cooked ourselves!

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and there is obviously a lot of love within the walls. Looking at the photo albums of what it took to make the place what it is today is amazing.

Fagiolari is a bit hard to find. It would be wonderful to have a picture of the main turning point in Pavona. The Fagiolari signs tell how many meters left to go down the road, but as an American I really don't have a clue about distance in meters. I think that the directions could simply say, 'go to the very end of the gravel road.'

The directions do not mention the relative difficulty of the latest portion of the dirt road that leads to the property. High slope and very bad conditions of the road in some portions.

One morning we were woke-up by loud noises and shoutings of the owner. She explained that she was nervous that the electrical system cannot keep-up with the demand from all of the rooms. This was unpleasant, since this was not our problem to solve.
The room was not as spacious and kind of dark, not as depicted on the web page. My wife also complained about the quality of the mattress, however I thought it was OK.

We enjoyed very much the cooking class offered by the owner, and the dinner that followed. We believe the price for the class is a little high (85 euros/person), but the experience is truly enjoyable, especially when shared with other people( as in our case).
The view from the property is also worth the trip and the money.
On the negative side: the road to the property definitely needs some improvement.

Words can not describe the beauty of
Fagiolari. Staying there was the highlight of
our trip (we also stayed in Rome and
Florence). It's the perfect location to make
your home base when doing day trips in

I would reccomend this bed and breakfast to anyone visiting Tuscany. The bed and breakfast is situated in a great area and it has a beautiful view!

It is a beautiful Tuscan farmhouse surrounded by grapevines, olive trees,potted herbs and plants everywhere. It's also very private with only the sound of the farmers harvesting their grapes.

The road going in is long, dirt and not in very good shape. You may want to keep your trips in and out of the B&B to a minimum during your stay to save your car.

Owner had left confusing message on reception door saying 'back very soon'. We waited for over half an hour before another visitor rang her. She was actually inside and clearly irritated we had not rung the bell. Suggest message should read 'Please ring bell if no one at reception'

The owner had given us her cell phone# & asked that we call as we got near so she would be ready for us & so she could provide better directions if needed.We found the place easily because there were lots of makers posted on the roads we needed to take.
We arrived much later than we had planned to. When we got there the owner was in the middle of final dinner preparations with the cooking class she holds. She came out to greet us & gave us a choice of accommodations we could stay in. We wound up taking the cottage which is it's own private building for the same rate as a room within the house.Since we had not make plans to eat at the B&B the owner suggested some near by restaurants. The one we went to was great! We arrived right at sun set & had a table over looking the vineyards. It was beautiful & romantic.

The owner offers a cooking class that we did not take part in ,but wish that we had. When we arrived the first evening it was later than we had expected to & the class was getting ready to sit down to eat the dinner they prepared. It looked & smelled wonderful! The next morning at breakfast we spoke to some of the people who took the class & they told us they had a great time.

The property was beautiful! We didn't spend as much time ON the property itself as we would have liked to because we had planned day trips from there to other destinations. It was a good location to use as a home base. The only one negative thing that I found to be an issue were the flies!!! They were everywhere. When researching this trip I had not come across any info indicating that flies would be in abundance in the vineyards. I find them very bothersome. My husband isn't as affected by their presence,but we probably would not have been able to walk the property & enjoy the pool because the flies followed you.

Checking out was when we had the best opportunity to talk to the owner. Since we had been out & about the days we were there, we really didn't see her. We purchased some homemade wine & olive oil to bring home.

-This was not a real problem for us but could have been or could be for others:
The dirt roads leading to the B&B are very bumpy & steep. We had a little tiny rent a car & at times felt we would tip over going down the road. If it had been raining I don't know if we would have made it there with the car we had.
-As mentioned before- we really wished we had planned to take the cooking class & experience that.
-there are the biggest rosemary bushes I have ever seen on this property!!

We had the most wonderful experience during our stay at Flagiolari.Guiletta offered to pick us up from panzano to B&B which was very kind of her.We had a very warm welcome from her on arrival and she showed us around the cottage.It was very pleasant evening and we were mesmerised by the location and beauty surrounding us.
