By train and bus from Pisa airport At the airport take the train until Pontedera central station. From the station, take the bus CPT in the Palaia or Montefoscoli direction and get off in the center of Palaia, take the first right and turn right again on via della Rocca 2. It is also possible to drive, following the indications above.
By car from Pisa airport Exit the airport and get onto the great FI-PI-LI (Firenze-Pisa-Livorno) communicating road, exit at Pontedera (for those coming from Pisa, it is the exit immediately after the one for Pontedera-Ponsacco). At the round crossroads continue following the indications for Palaia. Continue straight on the Strada delle Colline to Legoli (Road of the Hills for Legoli); at the fork roads keep left for Palaia and Forcoli. Once you have passed the Montanelli hamlet, turn left onto the Strada Statale Palaiese (Palaia State Road). Having driven up the hill and having passed the Partino hamlet, you will enter into Palaia. Take the first right and turn right again on via della Rocca 2.
By train Take the line Pisa - Firenze until Pontedera central station and take the bus CPT in the Palaia or Montefoscoli direction and get off in the center of Palaia. The bus stop is just in front of the Villa's garden. |
