We had a wonderful welcome at Dievole, very special.

The web site is very good. People at Dievole were so kind. This place is like a paradise. We wish we can return again for more time. The people there are generous. Our stay at Dievole is the better we had while our trip in Italy. I will recommend them to my friends.

It was also a nice touch to be offerd a drink on arrival although we did not get a chance to take it up

The breakfats buffet was excellent, the best I came across during my 11 days stay around Tuscany and the Italian Riveria. Dinner was also excellent , food and service.

The beauty and organisation of the estate was undersold. It was a fantastic place to stay and so organised and efficent not at all clinical or too uptight etc. There was a perfect balance between efficient, relaxed and homely.
The swimming pool was class, looking onto the valley and hills around which were home to vineyards and olive groves.
From what I could see there was no double beds in any of the rooms which I found strange and it would possibly make me think twice about returning with my boyfriend as I stayed with a friend.
It is a place I would consider as a wedding venue possibly in the future.

I took a number of brochures so that I could recommend it to freinds and family. It was heaven, a real retreat and under sold on the website. It was far better than expected. I felt it was quite pricey as the range price was from €30ish I think and we ended up paying almost €100 each per night but having stayed there now it was worth it, really excellent.

We were greeted by Christian with two glasses of wine and warm towels to refresh us after our journey. We were immediately put into the relaxed atmospthere of Chianti.

Waking every day to the sounds of Tuscany and the countryside and farm workers put us back in time. The food and service was extraordinary with a breakfast every day fit for a king. to say nothing of Wine tastings, dinners in ancient wine cellars and local villages with friendly people and excellent resturants. We hated to leave.

I was very impressed with the welcome, the complimentary wine, the breakfast etc.
However the fitness trail needs work and the wardrobe space needs to be improved and proper hangers for trousers supplied.

I was asked if I wanted a table for dinner on the evening of our arrival, I was not told it was to be a bar-b-q, it made no difference to us, but to another person it may have.

We were thoroughly spoiled. We had a huge apartment, which usually is only available for stayrs of 7 nights. We were overwhelmed with how lucky we were with our one night stay. We wished we could have stayed longer.

More pictures of the grounds, the place is gorgeous! The dinner in the vinery is on Wednesday nights, that should be stated as well as what they do, it's fun. The fact that the property is on a hill and getting to and from the rooms takes much effort. The steep hills and the stairs would make it undesirable for those with walking, lung problems. A great workout for the rest. Also not a great idea to bring those highly allergic to bees. The grounds are brimming with flowers and lavendar and therefore, bees - very busy bees that chase after you if you get too close to their blooms!
A suggestion - laundry facilites would make the place perfect!!!!

A beautiful, quiet, clean Tuscan retreat with a friendly staff and good food and wine. The scenery is spectacular and the grounds smell like flowers, rosemary and lavendar. We loved it and would definately return. Get a kitchen room, buy groceries in Vagliagli, get a bottle of Dievole wine and cook at least once - wow.

the a/c did not work, which was pretty bad in this heat
the work on the area around our apartment was not finished, so there was lot of noise from the workers and their machines
we were not alllowed to use the swimmingpool by our apartment, as the work was not finished- would be better if they did not rent out the apartments before all the work was finished

we got a 40 euro discount because the a/c did not work - we of course had to ask for this
...
that they have candle night dinners and barbeque nights- very nice
...

We were met with fresh washcloths and glasses of white wine upon our arrival. It was a wonderful way to begin our stay.

A free wine tasting tour was included with the room. I liked that I didn't find this on the web site, because the surprise made it feel like we were getting a great value.

The staff is wonderfully attentive, and the grounds are beautiful. This is a rustic setting with all of the conveniences of a more modern accommodation.

The rooms are not as cozy as I expected. The rooms were clean, but the Villa was not so well maintained, there was dirt (dog hairs etc.) on the staircaises. The staff was very friendly, the wine tour absolute interesting. The restaurant with outside dinning facilites very romantic.

Villa Dievole is part of a huge vineyard. It is very beautiful, but if you are looking for a more intimate stay in Tuscany, I would suggest a different place.

This was our first visit to tuscany and we were extremely happy with Villa Dievole. The facilities were excellent, the food in the restaurant was top class and even the cleaning of our accomadation was noteworthy.

I would describe Villa Dievole as an idyllic,peaceful and relaxing destination and I look forward to my return !

Myself and my friends were even able to take a wine tour upon arrival which was great.

There was a complimentary bottle of wine in our room during our stay. It was a very clean and spacious set of rooms and everything seemed newly remodeled.

The room booked wasn't as expected. There were no pictures of the room type and in comparison to the pictures shown it was disappointing as it was much more basic and smaller than I had imagined based on the other rooms shown.

Villa Dievole is situated in a very pleasant place. We had quite high expectations as the marketing for the property is of an outstanding quality. The rooms, however, are not in accordance with the price.
