a first class dinner was served at 21:30 although this was not booked or requested. he owner and manager of the property simply had anticipated that we might like a welcome candle light dinner!!

villa del pino was one of the highlights of our 4 week honeymoon in italy. we stayed for 6 nights to explore the toscana region and we truely enjoyed the attentive hospiality of the swiss owned and managed villa del pino. a beautiful tranquil place that forces the rushed tourist to wind down and relax.

the quality justifies the price.

We spent 4 weeks (our honeymoon) in italy and stayed in high quality accomodation throughout. Villa del Pino was clearly the highlight. Phantastic location overlooking the rolling hills of tuscany, beautifully renovated villa from ca. 1930s very attentive owner/manager, high quality dinner available on selected evenings. price for 2 about 80-100 E plus wine, good size pool with panoramic view- The perfect place to unwind in style. We will be back.

the swiss owner offers very useful advice re tour planning and has profound knowledge of local places of interest, restaurants, scenic routes etc.

The door to the room was on a common hallway and was not lockable.

The directions were clear, but rather circuitous.

We ate dinner at Villa del Pino both nights. The 2 dinners were among our best meals in Italy. They are superb and elegant cooks.

No amenities were provided in bathroom. Need to bring own. No hairdryer in bathromm. No TV in rooms.

Great location to do site trips to Florence, Siena, etc.
Villa sits in a very peaceful location with stunning views and beautiful grounds.
