very well appointed hotel in beautiful setting; we felt we had chosen probably one of the best hotels on the island.

Loved the dude on the bike who led us to
our room
...
Given we were only 30 metres from the
beach, we expected our more expensive
seaside room to have sea views but they
were blocked by other ground level
structures. There was no differentition
on the website between ground level rooms
and rooms above that had genuine sea
views

It would be helpful if when booking staff would inform guests that they are holding company conferences, since this disrupts some of the services offered to guests. We did not have the opportunity to have breakfast on the terrace for 2 mornings, because there was a Woolrich conference going on. This is unfair, since the employees from Woolrich could also have had breakfast downstairs.
With regards to the room, our tissues and bubble bath ran out after 5 days and these were not replenished for the remaining 2 days. The tissues in the first instance were not full but even if they were, when empty they should have been replaced.

Staff were very helpful in changing us to a ground floor room as we have a small baby.

Perfect hotel for a family holiday with all the facilities and comforts you would expect from a 4 star hotel delivered in a friendly and personal fashion. The staff in the hotel were charming and the food in the restaurant was excellent.

THE STAFF WAS VERY ATTENTIVE ABOUT SENDING A SWEATER THAT I LEFT BEHIND FOR WHICH I SENT A THANKYOU EMAIL.
THE HOTEL IS LOVELY, BUT COULD USE SOME EXTERIOR FIXING UP. THE ENTRY IS RATHER UNIMPRESSIVE.
THE FRONT DESK WAS SOMEWHAT ALOOF & COULD USE SOME WARMTH & FRIENDLINESS IN DEALING WITH NEW GUESTS.
THE BOYS WITH THE LUGGAGE WERE FRIENDLY & HELPFUL AS WAS THE CLEANING HELP. THE ROOMS WERE NICELY CLEANED.
WE HAD WANTED TO DINE THERE, BUT DIDN'T WANT THE PRE-SET MENU SO WE WENT ELSEWHERE. AN A LA CARTE CHOICE WOULD BE NICE.

Probably one of the best locations for a hotel on Elba regarding beach and view, a fantastic restaurant, excellent food and perfect service!

the room that we were allocated was joined through an interconnecting door to another room. there was no sound proofing and as a result we could clearly hear conversations the shower, the toilet flushing of those next door. There was the feeling of no privacy at all and as a result it was impossible to sleep in late as next door were up at 7am every morning.
