Hotel dei Capitani is located in the heart of the small village of Montalcino, in a beautiful position. Some restaurants, bars and shops are situated in short walking distance, so that you can find all you need at your disposal. The hotel is quite easy to reach and there is a parking available for the guests. Once you enter in Montalcino, you will see the Fortress and at the roundabout with the monument you have to follow direction Ospedale (Hospital) going through Via Piero Strozzi. The hotel is located in Via Lapini, at number 6.

How To Reach Us
 
By car:
- From Rome: take the highway A1, the exit is Chiusi-Chianciano Terne, then follow the signs to Chianciano Terme, Montepulciano, Pienza, San Quirico d'Orcia and finally Montalcino.
- From Florence: take the highway A1, the exit is Firenze Certosa, then take the Firenze-Siena motorway, the exit is Siena sud; then follow the directions to Buonconvento and Montalcino.

By train:
- From Milano Centrale: there is a train almost every hour to get to Firenze Santa Maria Novella (main railway station). It is approximately a 3 hours trip. From Firenze SMN take the train to Siena-Grosseto and get off Buonconvento.
- From Roma Termini: there is a train every 30 minutes to go to Firenze Santa Maria Novella (main railway station). It is and hour and thirty minutes ride. From Firenze SMN take the train to Siena-Grosseto and get off Buonconvento.
IC trains also stop in Chiusi-Chianciano Terme which is connected to Siena. From Siena take a train to Grosseto and get off Buonconvento.
- From Firenze S.M.N: Take the train to Siena-Grosseto and get off Buonconvento.
