Each apartment has its own outdoor space equipped with tables, deck chairs, sun shades. These are ideal for sitting out to enjoy the stunning views south toward Mount Amiata and north toward Siena. Cosona is 5 miles (10 km) from Pienza and 10 miles (20 km) from Montalcino. The entire surroundings are both beautiful and extraordinarily interesting: a treasury of history, art and landscape. Cosona thus makes an ideal base for trips in all directions. Siena, Arezzo, Perugia and Orvieto are all within little more than an hour's drive .
