The Fattoria has been producing sheep cheeses, wine and olive oil products since the 1970`s: within these grounds there were really ancient structures, medieval fortresses in some cases, which were turned into lodgings for guests seeking silence and a natural environment. Fallochio comprises several apartments, Giallo, Blu, Torre, Fallochio suite and Verde, equipped for 2 to 5 guests.

The typical Tuscan farmhouse Casa Erta features five bedrooms, and Il Corzanello is a medieval fortified property with a history of its own: this farmhouse is placed on a hill, in the area where many conflicts took place; several defensive positions were left, owned by the Niccolini and Cavalcanti families. As a matter of fact, the whole fattoria has an interesting story to tell, because in the Middle Ages, these terrains were the setting of battles between Lombards and Goths, the Ghelphi and the Ghibellini.

This path between Florence and Siena has had an important role in the history of Tuscany: the actual owners, the Gelpke and Goldschmidt families, acquired the property in 1969 and the first wine bottles were produced in 1972. Two decades later, the industry of sheep cheese was started. At Fattoria Corzano e Paterno you will be only 5 km from San Casciano, a territory that has been inhabited since Etruscan times. Here you should not miss the castles of Pergolato, Gabbiano and Bibbione.
