Daily cleaning of bedrooms and bathrooms (except on Sunday), exclusive use of garden and swimming pool (seasonally 27/5-30/9). Satellite TV. Welcome aperitif with wine and snacks of salami and tuscany cheese; first welcome courtesy basket with oil, salt, pepper, vinagre, sachets of sugar, coffee, tea, fruit, water; all the bathrooms are equipped with complimentary toiletries (also this one is only a first welcome service; obviously, during their stay, it will be guests business to supply all they need for them and for the house).

 The Fortezza offers to its guests, exclusively on request, the opportunity to stay in its exclusive rooms with the B&B formula. In this case, they will find a rich buffet breakfast; hand made cakes, local selected cold cuts and typical Tuscan cheeses.

 The estate and the swimming pool
Near the olive grove, you can find the large swimming pool equipped with patio furniture to sunbathe and a quiet pergola, which offers abundant shade, that is a perfect haven for rest or to contemplate the breathtaking view of the Tuscan landscape. Guests can also go trekking and walking through 7 hectars century-old wood. Ideal for birdwatching also has available in the vicinity: tennis, golf, fishing, horseback riding and exensive walking trails. At guests disposal there is also a private parking. The Fortezza can also host a number of gatherings and special events. Its unique location makes it the perfect setting for an elegant and unique wedding experience. |

Situated in the heart of the city centre, in front of the most beautiful panoramic view of the city, the restaurant Dulcis in Fundo distinguishes itself for its warm medieval environment. It is the ideal place to taste an excellent home made traditional and creative cuisine. Day off: Wednesday.
Olive oil and saffron
The estate produces olive oil and saffron, both of which can be tasted and purchased during your visit. These two products have been important elements of local cultivation for centuries - in fact in 1228 the local Council used saffron as legal tender to pay its debts. |
