the website mentioned that this B&B had friday night Jazz which is why I chose it. They discontinued that awhile ago, so please take that information off the website. However, we were so happy with this place that I'm actually glad that jazz was stated! ... you need to have a small car to be able to navigate up thru the ancient streets in the town to reach the Residenza. I had assumed it was along the main road. My husband was comfortable driving up the narrow curvy streets-I would not be. Also, when I searched the web for Montepulciano, I found Residenza, so I assumed it was in Montepulciano. It was, in fact, about 1/2 hour drive away. However, we loved this B&B and highly recommend it to everyone. ... The most friendly of hosts. Even did our laundry for a small fee when we asked about finding a laundromat.Restaurant superb. Walk down thru town to find several shops and deli's and trattoria's. Wonderful setting overlooking Tuscan countryside.

delightful setting, very good breakfast, charming owners ... we have been before - car parking is a nightmare (steep, narrow roads) so we left the car down in the town but it remains our favourite stay in Italy ... friendly and courteous ... probably shoudl warn visitors that the drive up is frightening unless you have a very small car (you may do this already, we have not checked as we are returners) ... idyllic, lovely building, nice family, wonderful views

street to parking was not accessable by car (volvo). The street was too narrow. I had to park in town and walk to hotel. ... The food in the restaurant was excellent.
