 The "Fattoria Il Colombaio" farm is situated in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, near Abbadia Isola, in the area surrounding Monteriggioni and the "Via Francigena", in the centre of the district made up of Florence-Siena-San Gimignano-Volterra.

In a carefully restored antique farmhouse, amidst vineyards and century-old olive groves, guests will find the ideal environment for a healthy and complete relaxation.

The apartments have recently been renovated with care and attention to detail so as to preserve the antique feel and taste of old Tuscan farmhouses. The aim was to make the apartments as comfortable for the guests as possible.

 Fattoria Il Colombaio is surrounded by a large well kept garden where at guests' disposal there is a barbecue where to spend a wonderful time having dinner in areas shaded by lovely old trees and shrubbery. The swimming pool is situated in the middle of a wide open space surrounded by an exclusive natural setting.

 To lovers of nature the area around the farmhouse offers many paths for outings by foot, on mountain bike (it is possible to rent mountain bikes inside the farm) or on horseback, following tracks of bygone days. This is how you will come upon breathtaking landscapes like the Chianti or one of the many thermal springs of the area.

Inside the farmhouse wine, olive oil and other local products can be purchased on the premises. It completes the existing facilities a spacious parking lot available for free to our guests. |
