We arrived by taxi, but as it turned out, the
residence was a simple 3-minute walk to the
main bus station.

The website was not clear about the restroom
in our particular room. I was nervous on
arrival that it might not be as nice as the
others that were pictured, if it even was
ensuite! But the restroom was brand new and
spacious. I also thought the website did not
explain the process or purpose of specifying
which particular room we wanted (i.e. Liberty)
-- this was confusing.

The room was amazing. I've never stayed
anywhere that was furnished with more care
and authentic character. We could not believe
how little we paid (around $100 US) for such
an incredible space. Eliza was extremely
gracious and always available. It was one of
the more quiet rooms we had in Italy, despite
being on a narrow street in the center of
Siena. It couldn't have been more charming or
convenient.

We had a wonderful stay in Siena and I would definately recommend Antica Residenza Cicogna to our friends. Elisa was a delightful host and most helpful in every way.

Antica Residenza Cicogna is a delightful little B & B in the centre of old Siena with only minutes walking to everything that Siena has to offer. Elisa is a lovely hostess in her old family home making our stay there memorable. I would definately go back and stay there.

This was the most wonderful B&B I have ever stayed in. The rooms, reception area, and breakfast area were all stunning. Staying at Antica Residenza Cicogna made Siena the most enjoyable experience!! I will definatley book to stay in this same B&B next time I am in Tuscany!!!!

Beautifully decorated in a way that made you feel perfectly at home in this B&B.
Everything from the frescoed walls in the Leoni room to the stunning entry way were perfect. I couldn't imagine a more wonderful place to stay in Siena or Tuscany.

One of the things that made our visit to Siena so great was the friendliness of the young manageress at this B&B. She was always happy to answer our questions and suggest activities and restuarants.

Each room is different and decorated in Medievial Italian style. It's beautiful inside. And the location is great. Very clean and quiet.

It is worth mentioning its proximity to the Duomo and places of interest-all within a few minutes walk.It is also very near the bus station-highly convenient for day trips to Firenze and San Gimignano for instance.

We had a beautiful room (the Corte room) with a fantastic bathroom. It was comfortable with a queen bed and quiet. There were no real views but it was worth it because it was quiet. The AC worked fine, the bathroom was great. Couldn't have been better. In the morning we had a lovely breakfast that is offered 8-noon. We had enough privacy like hotel but had a better experience because the staff spoke good English and helped us with getting around in Siena.

Definitely worth the money. We were in the middle of the action in Siena and it was still quiet and safe. Great location and the room was very nice.

Artistic, clean, and comfortable rooms. The room was alot newer than the photos show on the website. The tile flooring in the bedroom and the bathroom is high qualty and just a classy room.

Actually, while they were going to give us the room that had been agreed to, I had a slight problem with that room and they were gracious and able to substitute another room. It was a bit smaller but perfectly suitable and we were happy with it.

The breakfast had a good selection. The B&B is in a fine location, quiet but easy reach to the central sites. The host was very accomodating. Airconditioning in the room worked fine for us, good thing too since it was very hot while we were there.

There is no telephone accessible to guests of the B&B which is a concern since there is no staff during a large part of the day/night and should an emergency or problem arise it is difficult to get in touch with the management without one.

Very cosy and traditional. Nicely decorated and cared for. The staff is very accomodating and kind. Great place for a couple who is discerning but also wants to economize.

The room (called Corte) was way too small for 2 adults with 3 pieces of luggage. But it was fairly quiet, facing away from the street on an inner courtyard (the street was quite noisy, especially on saturday night).

We arrived during their rest period, so someone greeted us later. The directions are very misleading because you cannot drive to the B&B.

Good value for the money and a excellent location. Staff was extremely friendly and the continential breakfast was very satisfying. Very nice place to stay with a warm family atmosphere.

would have liked a bedside lamp on both sides of the bed. breakfast was very good would have loved to have some fresh fruit available though

The property itself was everything we had expected including lovely staff EXCEPT the noise level at night from local clubs made it impossible to sleep both nights we stayed. Unfortunately the noise (and noise alone) will mean we will not book here again.

Very sweet little B & B with small but clean rooms and staff who were helpful and attentive unfortunately I do not recommend due to excessively loud music to early hours of the morning.
