 "Tenuta del Cicalino" is situated directly at the feet of the ancient town Massa Marittima. Immersed in the unspoilt and wild land of the Maremma, you will find a nature paradise between sunflowers, olive groves and Mediterranean woods that in the course of time has preserved all its beauty and uniqueness. |
 The property with its 6 antique cottage houses, built in a circle around the 19th century manor house, is divided up into 24 apartments, maintaining their original charm of the Tuscan country style (stone facades, terracotta floors, exposed beams). The apartments are equipped with all modern facilities and comforts. |
 This is an ideal place to start one day trips to the most fascinating places in Tuscany like Volterra, S. Gimignano, S. Galgano, Vetulonia and Populonia with its Etruscan excavations.
The property is equipped with 3 swimming pools, mountain bike rental and a restaurant with typical Tuscan cuisine, accompanied by fantastic wines of our wine cellar. Outside the property there are marked footpaths for trekking and excursions with the mountain bike. |
 Our restaurant in the typical Tuscan style is situated near the farmhouse "Podernuovo", in a beautiful position, from where it is possible to admire the enchanting view of the medieval town Massa Marittima and the beautiful landscape changing between hills, woods, corn- and sunflower fields. Inside there are two halls, furnished in the traditional Maremman style. There, our guests can enjoy the local cuisine, prepared with our farm products. During the summer season it is possible to dine in the garden of our restaurant, enjoying our typical plates, the beautiful sight and the romantic candle light
